Since I'm on the subject of scams, ever since I put my e-mail address on craigslist I get about 1 of these a day.

I found a "sweet " deal on a car at autotrader.com. The guy wanted me to send money to an escrow account/website. I looked pretty closely at the website and it looked very legit, unless closely checked. It had one spelling mistake, and listed partner websites that didnt seem to match. The website stated that they had been in business for 5 years. I researched the web site registration at whois.net and found out the website had been registered onlz 3 days prior. Saved me some loot.

Yeah there are a lot of scams out there, especially on some of those deals that look to good to be true.
