Been observing a lot of Whitetail deer in the area of Forest Road 172 (Rogers Trough Trailhead road). One large group of plus 20, and also observed some impressive bulls.

or buck deer?
I was always charmed with those little does that hang at Reavis. They seem to barely notice people. The apples are THAT good! Very Happy

That is near where Arizonaheat and I had our deer encounter where they came right up to us as we paused in the meadow near the trailhead. Does not surprise me, after all Nighthiker, you are the animal magnet...ever since since you got kissed by that elk..(it was an elk wasnt it?)
