A little get-together to exercise our trigger fingers and try out a few different flavors of hardware.
We will be meeting at Shooter's World on 28th ave. one block South of Indian School Rd.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&address=3828+North+28th+Ave&city=Phoenix&state=AZ&zipcode=85017&homesubmit.x=37&homesubmit.y=14
The time to meet is 12:00pm on Saturday the 31st of July.
There will be plenty of handguns to try, so rental shouldn't have to enter the equation. I believe Hooli mentioned it was $12/hr for lane rental. We'll see how that pans out.
Obviously we won't all be shooting at once. Hooli has gratiously donated 6 one hour coupons to the mix.
Please respond to this as we are looking for a preliminary head count.

Ter-Mark is a decent show - but not nearly as big as the Crossroads show. It's roughly half the size.
The Ter-Mark shows are aimed more at collectors and specialists, the people that run the tables tend to be more on the side of enthusiasts that focus on a narrow range of things. You also see more collectors of other things like knives, coins, watches, etc.
The prices for guns at a Ter-Mark show are also generally higher. The participants are, once again, more professioal and less apt to make a mistake in their dealings. That's what you look for at the Crossroads show - there is a frenzy feeding effect and people can make bad decisions so you can come away with a much better deal.
However, Ter-Mark can also be a more educational experience. Because of the higher overall quality of the dealers/collectors you can see some first-rate merchandise and there are fewer people so it's not quite as harried.
Each show is very different. You just have to know what you're going to get from each and plan accordingly. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."
