I've been eyeing the Teva Gamma river shoe for a couple of weeks. I need something a bit more than the sandals I presently use. They sure are irritating. I would much rather have a fully closed shoe.

Has anyone used these? Know of anyone who has used them?
I'm not really looking for a "best shoe on the market" thread. Just looking for some field reviews such as, is the lacing system actually functional, how does the shell of the shoe hold up, do they actually drain well, how is the fit/comfort, etc.
Thanks |

I would go that route over the Salamon Tech Amphibians. They suck! |

Love em!
I have the Gamma Pro's and my girlfriend has the regular Gamma model.
No real difference that I can tell other than the tread pattern. She thinks mine stick to rocks better but I think it's because I weigh more than her and basically have more experience hopping boulders and skipping across creeks.
Great shoes. |
