Out night hiking this week I have observed millipedes, but no centipedes. Tonight I will take the black light and check for scorpions. During day hikes this week I have observed three gila monsters, four gopher snakes and teo racers. Two of the gopher snakes were small enough that they may have been hatched this week. One of the racers I observed today while riding a bike to Canyon Lake. We raced along for about sixty feet before breaking awayon going over the edge near mile post 205. |

After we saw a few scorpions at Aravaipa I did the black light thing in my back yard which is rock and some sand. Suprised not to find any scorpioins though. I'm sure I just need to stir things up a bit. |
