Jared,

Sorry for your back problems. I sure hope it's not a herniated disc but the MRI will confirm that. Do you have a good back specialist already? Since I work for a group of Orthopedic surgeons I can get you a name if you need one.

On the flip side.......congrats on your new addition. October is a cool month to have a birthday!

Get yourself up and well soon~~~

Trish

Hope your back gets better for you. It is a big bummer. Basketball has really messed up more than a few of my friends. The stress on the body is extreme when you play it hard.

Take it easy and good luck.

yah, that stinks. i guess all u can do is practice meditation or something instead for now. i really have a hard time slowing down, too. I'd hate it. I had Valley Fever (the drs thought it was pneamonia) and the doctors told me to rest. Well, i was resting. I was in MA visiting family, so I hiked, ran, road my mtn bike and all the things I do to relax/rest. Word of advice: ask you Dr what his definition of rest is. Mine was quite different than my dr's. My Dr. even took me off of exercises with the physical therapist. Resting your back by his definition is spending several hours a day laying down with my feet propped up on a couch or something.

It sucks.

I've already got a training plan in mind to get me ready for WFW2.

WFW2 or bust!
