"A Natural History of the Sonoran Desert" put out by the Sonoran Desert Musuem.
It includes everything from geology, plants, wildlife and human impact.
For fiction, I am rereading Ed Abbey's "Good News" novel. One of his least known but one of the best, in my humble opinion. |

I'm currently reading Off The Beaten Path: Stories of Place. It's a collection of stories written by different authors. The Nature Conservancy asked the authors to write a story about some of their sites. Tuscon's Barbara Kingsolver writes the introduction. Since I got it from the thrift store, its kind of old. 1998. But so far, good reading. Now if it just wasn't a hardback i could take it with me on my next trip. _________________ Your life is dyed the color of your imagination |

Hardback books are a treat I grant myself. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |
