Heart Rate Monitor transmitter search

I've been using the Suunto Advisor for about 4-5 years now and the Polar heart rate monitor transmitter (the chest strap) finally died on me this week.

I can't seem to locate the spare one I kept from an old Polar Heart Rate monitor watch I used to use.

I've searched on-line and the best I can find is around $40 for a new transmitter/chest strap.

Any wise souls out there have any other suggestions?
Anybody have one they're willing to unload?

Any help would be appreciated....

Colin, call the PV REI. They had several on the B-93 sale table that were for parts. Since few people would buy one that's not complete, they may still have them. Suunto has a website as well. I've downloaded the pdf of the manual for mine several times (Filing is not my strong suite). They may have a part# that you could order.
