1/1/2003. My wife and I do a hike every new years day. We started at 10am from the JCC TH 1/2 mile in from AZ88. I love that first part of JCC. Great cactus and very pretty. A lot of people were coming up from Lost Dutchman SP via Treasure Loop. We decided to take the use trail to the Praying hands and a rappelling (sp?) group was coming down from the top. Check out our website for pictures. http://members.cox.net/azbackpack

When the Man waked up he said, "What is Wild Dog doing here?" And the Woman said, "His name is not Wild Dog anymore, but the First Friend, because he will be our friend for always and always and always. Take him with you when you go hunting."

That was my group you saw rappelling down from the Hand. It's a pretty scary climb, especially with your belayer saying 'I think you missed a bolt, guy, you're an awful long way above the last one'. That'll get you praying.

Cool! Mr. Green We didnt even notice you guys at first. I kept hearing voices, but my wife was saying that I was losing it. When we got up there I saw the backpacks at the base, the rope and then somebodys head popped out at the top.
