How about making the start time 9 or 10, since it isn't a long hike and takes awhile to drive to the trailhead, not just for me coming from Tucson, but east Valley folks as well. Plus it is still winter and that will give it time to warm up a bit. |

Randy, my only concern is, I am told the last time this was done with an 8:00 start time the group didn't get back to the TH until dark..... Can we get some feed back on this from someone who was there? Am I remembering it incorrectly? Did you start later than the post indicates? Can we start at 9:00 and get back to TH before or by dark? If not, is every one comfortable with coming in after dark? _________________ ~~~Diane~~~

Diane, looking at the timestamps on my photoset from the hike I did there, we started at about 830 and were back at the picnic table by about 115. We weren't racing. It is less than 6 miles RT. So that tells me that 9 would work fine.

That way I wouldn't have to leave here until 6 AM versus 5 AM. |

Unfortunately, Cristina can not make it due to a work commitment. I will make it as I have been dying to check this peak out. I may need to stick my thumb out along the dirt road in as I drive a little Saturn sedan. I see it takes an hour and 45 minutes from my area of town. I will leave at 7am to pad the time a little.
Looking forward to this hike!! _________________ All our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them...Walt Disney |

If anything changes for Cristina I will let you know. May ask a couple other friends if they are interested as well. See you all Saturday!! _________________ All our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them...Walt Disney |

Hi everybody! Long time didn't see you. How are you, my friends?
We would like to join to hiking.
Last time (may be two weeks ago) we trailed on Camelback Mountain. Exactly before closing this trail for hiking. Trail was just wonderful. |
