I am planning to backpack to Araviapa coming up this weekend. Do you think the water levels will be ok for going there after the thunderstorms we had? _________________ Anne

I backpacked Aravaipa last weekend and barely got my shins wet a few times. If you take that into account and compare the water flow data then and now, you should be fine.
Here's where you can check the real-time water flow for Aravaipa:

I am wondering how far I can get hiking in the dark in Aravaipa? I emailed Nighthiker, hope he answers me. I am going there with Ambika's group in Dec. and may not get to the trailhead until after dark. And there won't be much of a moon that weekend. |

It does not look like much, so maybe I will be ok. If not, I will hike out that day. Thanks for the info! _________________ Anne
