Out on a night hike couple of nights ago had something growl at me. No noise except for the growl. Heard a noise and stopped hiking, it was a low growl. Turned to locate and it growled again. Thought about using the flashlight when it growled again but not as loud but longer. Walked away and no further incident. Not scared just puzzled as to what it was. |

Something made a suggestion and you followed the suggestion. Sounds like a good choice to me.
When I was about 5 I was walking through a big patch of Johnson grass taller than me. I was halfway through when I heard a loud buzzing.
