Beautiful, one of my favorite places to go.
I call it Land of the Lost as you escape the Sabino Crowds and they are only about 1/4 mile down the trail.
Have you hiked to Miner's Pool via the canyon? _________________ Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. - Rachel Carson |

And some people think Phoenix is better than Tucson for access to hiking? Get real!
Enjoyed the photos, Sirena! |

Except for getting to Flagstaff and Sedona area. The drive through Black canyon City and up toward Sunset Rest area is Brutal every weekend. _________________ Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. - Rachel Carson |

Sedona? Probably not my first choice of hiking areas if I lived in Phoenix. But Phoenix does have closer access to the Supes, the Mazatzals, 4 peaks, Cherry Creek, Bloody Basin, E. Verde, the Rim, WCC, Wet Beaver, etc. |

Easy hike just past the end of the tram road. Wonder if it is still nice and deep these days, after all the changes that have occurred in Sabino. |
