Last week's snow has been very slow to melt in Madera Canyon. There is still plenty of it this afternoon above the 6,000' level. Yesterday, we enjoyed this wintery scene at Kent Spring (6,720'):



Forecasters say that southern AZ might get a little more snow tonight. Woo-hoo!! Unfortunately, I re-fractured a previously broken toe after yesterday's hike and so I'm sidelined from hiking for now Sad
