Spent 3 days taking in the color at my favorite Arizona fall foilage destination. Foto's in the gallery. _________________ Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. |

Stuck down here this weekend. Any fall foilage I will see is when I make the trip to Michaels for model rocket engines. Great pics. |

Nice photos of Ash Creek Canyon!
Based upon what you saw, any guesstimate as to when the "peak" color weekend might be this year.

Hopefully the leaves won't all be on the ground . SAHC is going on Sunday to Ash Creek Canyon. _________________ Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life. - Rachel Carson |

I would say that last weekend and this coming weekend will be the peak for the leaves. They are turning in sections this year, it is really kind of odd. In the three days I was there major change occurred, with lots of leaves falling and lots shriveling up. However there were some areas where the leaves hadn't changed at all and other areas that were half changed and half not. This cold snap will have a dramatic effect.
Ambika I think there will still be leaves in two weeks. If Letty goes this weekend she can give a better update. The wind could wreak havoc. _________________ Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. |
