It appears that my only two bosses will be out of town on Oct 16th, so I can't do the Jordan Hot Springs backpack (6.5 hr drive to camping) as I need to stay at work until market close. I like to get to the camping part at a reasonable hour so leaving after 1:30-2:00 just won't work for this particular meet-up.
Interestingly enough, my main boss is going on his first ever overnite backpack (altho they are using the mules to take the stuff) to Havasu Canyon 10-16/10-18... I can't NOT let him do that so I graciously sacrificed my schedule for his.
So, Linda, let's have some fun with the rest of the gang! _________________ Angela from N Phoenix |

You all have fun, I wanted to join in but like the reason Shawn changed it, that "Dirty" word prevents me. Sigh! _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)

Dave and I will be at the opposite end of the State that weekend. We are both going to do the Bisbee 1000 Steps event! You all have a great time. _________________ Blond, James Blond... double "O", uh oh!!

I might be able to go on this one. I need to ask the hubby, especially if I still want to stay married! (which I do ) _________________ Anne

that will work just fine! I'll have a couple more car camps under my belt by then. I think I am getting a little more efficient.
This coming weekend is going to be a hot one at Aravaipa though. But then again, I am going with Wendy and her M.O. seems to be hotter than normal temps when I hike with her. _________________ Angela from N Phoenix |

Bumping this to the front to see if there is interest. If not in a car camp, then as a day hike either Saturday or Sunday?

I believe I will be helping to instruct at the upcoming AMC technical outdoor climbing class both Sat and Sun of that weekend. So although it sounds lovely, I can't make this one. |

I wished I could go Shawn. But On-call... Bummer
It is so pretty up that way and I've never been on this trail that I know of. I would have enjoyed it. Hope you all don't cancel, I was looking forward to seeing some of the beautiful pictures. _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)
