The Grand Canyon National Park has invited a few groups to rappel into the canyon and clean up garbage. This is a special one day event.
Here is a practice video that I made from our practice/training event. Lots to learn and lots of ropes and things to manage...but it went well.

Definitely a fun day and can't wait for the Canyon clean-up now! Wish the rain had held off a little longer so we could get more climbs in, but what can you do.
Great video, Suz. Brian's rope-throwing skills have been well-documented... _________________ Mountains complement desert as desert complements city, as wilderness complements and completes civilization. - Ed Abbey |

It seems to rain every time I'm at the Overlook. I'm really excited about the clean up, too.
I haven't even thrown a rope, yet......he's getting some good practice in! |
