Looks like REI (Tempe) is having a canyoneering presentation tonight. I'm thinking about going and was wondering if anyone else was considering it? |

Was thinking about it but did not want to drive into Tempe three days in a row. Leaving shortly for an overnightter out in the desert. |

It was a nice basic overview done by the one and only Matt Gilbert! There were some familiar faces in the audience.
It was nearly freezing on the drive home! |

I still remember when Matt was cutting his canyoneering teeth on the Tonto creek "canyon" Now he's the local SME. COOL! _________________ "I am just going outside and may be some time."- Explorer Oates' last words before crawling out of his tent in -40 C temps.
