Snow Peak Titanium Trek 700 cook mug, already opened it. My son who's deployed right now ordered it for me. I'm going to experiment with cat food can stove la Andrew Skurka's Youtube directions and blog. I wish to both lighten and compress my cook kit.

I got a new back-pack. One of these new fan-dangled ones (built within last 15 years) that is made by "Field and Stream". It has the back meshing and water reservoir. I also got a new hammock tent and tree straps! Now I just need to get out and use them Laughing

Anyone else get some cool outdoor toys?

Nice! Angela, let me know how that wine glass/cup works. I've been eyeing it for awhile now. Also curious about that self heating beverage.

I have two new backpacks on the way from Osprey! (Love their warranty). Got a sexy NOAA weather radio, a super bright headlamp, a waterproof camera for the canyons (it's purple) a couple of warm layers, a heavy duty tripod to replace the one I recently DROVE over and some Asics Gel Nimbus shoes as an attempt to relieve a bit of my walking issues.

Ambika---what was in your stocking?
