2013 GHOTM Planning

Anything down around Hannagan, but we did that before. You know, hiking along the Black River.

For very early summer/late spring (or late Sept/Oct) there are a couple of campgrounds down near the Blue River. It gets very hot there after the middle of June (or even before that). There are a great many trails that can be accessed from the Blue River road. I have hiked only two of them, Largo and Lanphier.

I am hoping to be moving away from there by this coming summer, though. Hoping...

I would like to change the June Philomena Spring hike to the end of June. Jordan and Alyssa are getting married the first weekend, and I'll have family in town. Other weekends are booked until the last weekend, which is June 29-30.

I see we still have April, July and September that no one has claimed! Come one! Some one jump in here and plan a hike! Wouldn't it be cool to have a whole year of GHOTMs!? Hiking

What are we doing in March? I will be in Ecuador in MArch for ~ 2 weeks & with some work related travel -- MArch is out for me but a few days ... Sad

Officially it was my month but family matters have taken precedence. My mom has been quite sick since the beginning of the year and I'm trying to balance my work and my home obligations. Although mom is feeling better, I still feel a little overwhelmed. I will try to make it to the Hieroglyphics trail that Diane set up but can't make any promises.

Bummer! Sorry ya'll can't make it but Linda and I and hopefully Todd and the girls ( I don't think Todd has other plans but he hasn't signed up .... the fake wife is always the last to know!) are still gonna go so if anyone else can make it just put your name on the list and come with us! It should be a fun day!
