So I went to dust off my old hiking boots the other day and discovered that a mouse had been living in them and chewed the lining for a nest!!! Shocked I don't have the $ to drop for a new pair of boots currently so I am considering using my work boots for now. They're waterproof with full-grain leather/1200 denier nylon upper and antibacterial DriLex lining. I'm on my feet most of the day and they're super comfortable.

Do you think they'll do for now? Has anyone else hiked with this type of boot before?

If they'r comfortable use them.
I have never hiked in a boot that big before.

I agree with Todd. Comfort is most important; everything falls into place after that issue. Very Happy

Laughing Thanks for the giggle Cmarf. BTW; when I remember my shoes they are usually a trail runner. I like using New Balance 80.. and 740 series. I also generally take in the type of terrain when considering comfort.
