I am looking for the 2nd edition (made in 2000) of the Superstition Wilderness map made by beartooth publishing. If anyone has a spare map or one that they no lomger wish to own, please contact me. Please reply or send me a message.

I don't have a spare but I don't blame you for looking for one. I bought one of the new ones and was very disappointed at the changes.

I have only one second edition also and can't part with it. Will keep a look out for one though......

Another thought~~~check with Wide World of Maps? Maybe they can locate one for you.

Wide World of Maps says that they can not locate one since it has been out of circulation for some time. I have tried Amazon, E Bay, Craigslist, etc.; MY best bet to find one from someone local that has a spare or no longer uses theirs. I had two. Gave one away two years ago and have misplaced (lost) the other.

I am hoping that ALL of you ask each other and that some one will come through..........Thanks

It sounds to me like hikers need to be writing to the company to complain. Trish loaned me hers for the Dutchman hike and it is really a good map.

I just looked them up and they have a Facebook page. I got on the Facebook page and posted a paragraph about Arizona hikers trying to find the second edition. Since I am new to the Supes, and have not seen the new edition, I could not be specific. Perhaps some of you should go on that Facebook page and (gently) let them know WHY you don't like the new map.
