Ah, finally I am getting around to looking at pictures from my trip to Patagonia back in March.

We had a rather packed trip with numerous destinations .... so I will post pictures in installments.

1st up : “muy lindo pinguinos”

We went out to Seno Otoway Penguin Colony or “Pinguinera.” Around an hours drive from Punta Arenas, the road to Otway is isolated, winding its way through miles and miles of pampas, flat stretches of land that reach as far as the eye can see, until sky and earth meet gently on the horizon.

We saw penguins, nandus ( lesser rhea), skunks, falcons and a variety of other birds

Enjoy!

Chile is a great place to visit. I enjoyed it when I had the opportunity. I did not go as south as you were. The furthest south I went was Chillian. That was a great place to shop. It is a ski resort area. Loved your photos, very jealous!

So cool- I like the one that is peeking out behind the flowers! When I saw the title of the post, I thought it was the one in Southern AZ Laughing
