The weather finally cooperated so that I could start section-hiking the Grand Enchantment Trail, which goes 730 miles from Phoenix to Albuquerque- here's day 1, and check the website in the next couple of days for Day 2.

Wow.... your a corker (somebody striking or outstanding). Amazing story. I have never heard of the Grand Enchantment Trail from Phoenix to Albuquerque. Where can I go to find the trail alignment.. publication? on a map?

The GET is all thanks to one guy: Brett Tucker (Blisterfree) and his website is phenomenal! The guidebook is available for free and there is a great map set available for $14.95.
