Anyone taking the annual trip to the TSO concert in December? The Youtube videos suggest that they are bringing more stuff with them.

Should be awesome. This will be my 6th or 7th year in a row.

Jen just saw them in Dayton a few nights ago. She liked and said the show was a lot different. Personally I got bored after the first few years of the same story. Granted they have always switched up the second half, but by that point I usually had lost interest. I don't' think it helped one year that I did like a 20 mile hike before going to the show. Lets just say I needed to rest my eyes a bit.

Diane and I are taking her daughter and SIL this year. We decided that this, our third year might be the last time we go but if the show has changed quite a bit, then we'll have to see.

Just got back from the show, and while the first half is the same story, it's a lot of fun for the sheer spectacle of it all. The light show continues to evolve as technology advances.

I don't think I would go to the night castle tour in the spring, but would go to the Christmas show again next year.

Good stuff.

I saw the TSO ( are we talking about the TransSiberian Orchestra) or the Tucson Symphony Orchestra?

Transsiberian used to come to Tucson, but they sold out....

Oh heavens yes! It is worth seeing! Todd and I have seen it three times! We really enjoy it. As Cakewalk said above they do the first half of the show the same every year as it is the music and story they are most famous for. I have listened to it on my stereo for years so when I got the chance to go see them live I couldn't pass it up! You won't be disappointed!
