As some of you know, we lost a dear friend earlier this year - evenstar - also known as Hooli amongst many other names.
We will be having a celebration of his life on Saturday November 21st. A Hooligy if you will.
We have the Willow Overflow Campground G at White Tanks Regional Park reserved for us for Friday and Saturday nights. Room for 8 large tents, 12 - 15 small tents, 5 tables, 5 grills and a large fire ring.
So come on out, help us celebrate and remember. More details to come.
Food Stuff
GTG - firewood and fried homegrown okra
Hikngrl - pancakes, bacon, brats and fixn's, don't worry, I won't leave Todd in charge of mustard!
paintninaz - tri-tip over easy
Tom Treks - A lighter and Panther Piss
jmzblond - Hooli's favorite brownies!
beckett - pumpkin bread and pumpkin cookies
wanderingsoul - artichoke/spinach dip and some thing to dip (???)

I will be there in spirit! Cellebrate the life of a fun guy. Share stories, drink some panther pi...well, you know. Most of all laugh! Maybe someone can break out some of those Hooli Bucks for those dancers in the group! Heck, even I would dance for a chance to get one of those collector items! |

Sorry just noticed the date and maybe it is just my eyes or I'm just a bit confused?? This Saturday? Is it November already?

Sorry wanderingsoul, I changed the wording. No it's not November yet, my goof.

I might have a scheduling conflict with another trip but will try to make it. Will know more as November rolls around _________________ ~~~Trish~~~

I'm hoping I'll be able to make this but have company coming close to that date.
I'll post later on if I'm able to attend.

We got rid of all of our camping gear when we moved this last time, so I'm not sure about the camping part of it. But Dave and I will be there for the rest of it!
Thanks guys for organizing this. It means a lot. _________________ Blond, James Blond... double "O", uh oh!!

This gathering is a wonderful idea. I wish I could be there with Rich (who is doing well by the way). We will, for sure, raise a glass in a toast on Saturday (ok, maybe a few glasses).

Sounds like a great time guys... I will plan on coming out Saturday, hiking a bit and making camp with y'all for the night. I am already looking forward to it! _________________ And this our life, exempt from public haunt,

I sure wish that I could come out for this. On that day, I'll be thinking of all of you and of course, Hooli.
Thanks for putting this together Todd. Hooli was "family"... |

As Ken said Thanks for putting together to Remember Hooli and at a place he enjoyed so many times. I'm sure he'll be with us in spirit, we'll have to be on the Lookout for Strange happenings...it might just be Hooli playing with us !
My lead came through to help me out, taking my On-call for the day/night. I owe him one
I'll be there to help Celebrate Hooli !! or the Hooligan as I sometimes heard him called _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)

I'm still not sure if I can make it. But will hitch a ride with either Wanderingsoul or the infamous SJ if it is possible for me.
