Was out in the White Mountains last week and had the opportunity to watch Ospreys at a number of locations.

It was great to see an Osprey soaring above Hulsey Lake checking out the fish and then dive in right in front of me into the lake and emerge with a good sized fish...Just had my camera put up so I did not quite get the shot...but I did catch him landing with dinner ...

This one is from East Fork of Black River

Now I gotta get back there with more zoom & a faster lens!!!

Some shots are in the gallery: http://www.arizonahikers.com/forum/modules.php?set_albumName=albxz02&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php

Very cool Ambika!

I saw an Osprey pick a nice trout out of Big Lake some years back.

Wow Amika, Nice shots!! I've never seen an Osprey, or at least I don't think so. You caught them in flight, really awesome

I enjoy watching Hummingbirds, will be looking to see those when you post. Have had a quite a few frequenting my Fairy Dusters. Saw a really pretty irrdescent green guy the other day... Usually not many colorful ones, but when the sun hit this one the green just lit up almost sparkled.
