Observed a lot of them this year, anyone still use them ? Quite happy with my Eureka tents. Talked with a couple who have been staying in one since April (campground hosts) and they like it over there 5th wheel trailer. |

A lot of hunting guides use canvas wall tents, with sheepherder stove inside. You could definitely live in one. I could, anyway, and if this economy gets any worse it would be good to have one in the shed in case you need a cheap place to stay! In addition to my bp tents all I have is a very cheap 10x12 family camping tent. It wouldn't hold up very long for living in. |

Our field station on top of the Vermilion Cliffs uses a reinforced canvas wall tent (has a wood floor, walls, and ceiling inside. We've got a stove and solar power up there - its great. We finally had to replace the canvas early last year. _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |
