I think you can get some kind of tranquilizer from a Vet to calm the cats and make them relaxed. Or at least some kind of " Happy Pill "Might want to check that out.

Good Luck Matt & Liz A brand new life change! I'm sure you'll make the most of it

Hey guys!

We're in fabulous Ohio and I've got internet again! The move wasn't as painful as I thought it would be, with moving the cats and all. They were very good on the plane; hardly a peep out of either of them. All of our stuff arrived on Thursday and I've been spending a lot of time unpacking. We definitely moved into a smaller place here. I have no idea where we are going to put everything. At least there is a basement.

I'm going to try to get out tomorrow (Sunday) for a hike and take some pics of the autumn colors for you guys. It's absolutely beautiful here right now. No guarantees though. We still have a lot to do around the house. Plus we are getting married next Saturday! Shocked Then it's off to the Cayman Islands for our honeymoon. I promise I'll post pics when I get a chance, so be patient. I haven't forgotten about you guys!

Glad to hear you and Liz made it to the wrong coast OK. The fall foliage is popping here in VA as well.

My wife and I did a quick overnight to a cabin ran by PATC. Was cool for sure. If you wait on a kayak, I have a canoe that will work just fine.

Enjoy the honeymoon, and congrats.

Very Happy

PS, here are a couple of the cabin...

Here's my wife in my Marmot Helium- cold sleeper for sure. 15 deg bag INSIDE a cabin. Note the glass of wine next to her. heheh.

My first lady. Marley DoG...

Glad all went well with the move. Enjoy the wedding. And the honeymoon in a nice warm climate. Might not be seeing warm for a while there in Ohio, so enjoy it!!
Bet the colors are pretty, will be waiting to see them when you get all settled in and back from the Islands and have some time to spare Smile

Well, a hike did not happen. We are just too busy with all of the unpacking. We wasted a lot of time yesterday looking for a stand-alone kitchen pantry. Our new (but temporary) house is so much smaller than our house in QC. It's unlikely I'll be able to get out this week, with all of the wedding stuff to do, and the leaves will more than likely be done by the time I get back from my honeymoon. Sorry guys.

Time to clean and straighten up the garage! I'm so lucky!

I'm almost jealous. Not that Ohio would be on my list, but I have desire to be somewhere else, real soon. Moving is such a drag until you have finished putting everything away. Then it is fun to be in a new place, explore it, and meet people.

I think Moab would be on my list, however. I spent this past weekend there. Sigh....

Hey guys! Remember me? Just a quick note to let you all know that I'm still alive. Slowly but surely I am beginning to explore this seemingly uninteresting state. Thankfully, despite winter being in full effect, I am finding Ohio to be kinda neat. Much different than AZ obviously, but some things are not too far off from the same. For instance, over the New Year I spent a few days hiking the Hocking Hills area in southeastern Ohio. There is an awesome sandstone gorge there; it's really narrow, kinda like a canyon with sheer cliffs and everything. Also, I am learning a bit about the Native American history here, and I have some sites to look forward to visiting.

I still haven't found a job yet. The search is driving me crazy. I decided to get away from the computer and out of the house for a few days last week. I visited a few state parks in Ohio and West Virginia. I wish it hadn't been so bitterly cold those days. I drove through some beautiful historic towns that I really want to photograph. The cold was really wreaking havoc on my hands when I was trying to shoot. I'll post some more stuff soon.

Check out my pics:

Whenever I get a job and can buy a plane ticket, I'm coming to visit you guys!

Looks a little bit chilly there, I spent the day outside in shorts and a t-shirt today (I think it was high 70s)

Matt,

Nice photos! As a former Buckeye I really enjoyed seeing those beautiful winter scenes.
