We all love exploring Arizona...but when you need to stay close to home...

What's your favorite hike in the Phoenix Area?

Thunderbird Park is fun! Options are many and you can hike a short hike or stretch it to a longer hike then when you are done there is a coffee shop just down the street where you can chat with your hiking partner out side for as long as you want! Laughing That's about as local as you can get!

I don't know that I have a favorite but I do like the Bell Pass Trail in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve as it's right next to where I work.

If I don't want to drive far I'll head out to either Spur Cross Conservation area or Cave Creek Recreational area where there's all sorts of combos one can do depending on time and objective.

Canyon Lake to FW is a treat. The vistas are gorgeous from the overlooks.

In town I like South Mountain Park, National trail to Fat Man's pass. Then back through hidden valley and the cave.
