This is an awesome trip report Tim! Sounds like you guys had the time of your life. Glad you are all safe.

There is no way I could do this because of my fear of heights, but reading and looking at your pics made me feel like I was there. Thanks for sharing!

All I can say is way to go! Mr. Green

Congrats to you....this one is on my list, too. I'll have to wait for my hiking buddy to get out of the hospital and all recovered.....maybe next year for me. Enjoyed your pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Tim,

Congrats - that's a lot of miles and a lot of effort. But at the end of the day, you accomplished your goal.

Those pictures in the canyons past that hairy traverse....gorgeous. Great pics and probably one of the best reports/pics I've seen of that area.

Now you can do a rim-to-rim on the Bass Trail and call it good Laughing j/k. Way to go

Thanks Tim! I was really hoping that I'd get at least one or two shots that were worth something since I lugged that tripod around the whole time. Thanks again for finding it after it fell off my pack at the "Ledge"! You should see how beat that thing looks now. It is so dirty and scratched. It all goes well with the duct tape I guess. I got my new tripod yesterday. It is so beautiful that I think I will cry when it gets its first scratch.

As far as another canyon trip. How about the Redwall break in Upper Hermit Creek, down Hermit Gorge to Hermit Campground? Mike's been wanting to do this and we just didn't get to it this year. Perhaps in the fall when it cools down again.
