Mike you tarp setup is incredible. I can't believe you are doing that at home. But like they say, necessity is the mother of invention.
I'll keep that in mind. Great job _________________ Douglas

I got it! I got it! I thought about it and thought about it and I have to say that my Marmot Pounder is my favorite piece of gear for '07.
For several years now I have hauled around my heavy zero degree sleeping bag cause I CAN'T be cold and sleep. However in '07 we planned and carried out a nine day backpacking trip in the Canyon in May and I knew that a nine day pack was gonna be heavy and I wanted to decrease that weight in every way possible. So I got brave and scaled down on my sleeping bag praying that a 40 degree bag would keep mee warm enough. And it did! I was comfortable every night! And it weighed almost 2 lbs less than my zero degree bag! _________________ ~~~Diane~~~

Diane. I'm SO proud of you. I thought you'd never cut loose from that zero bag. My Arete and Helium Marmots are The Bomb I might add! In fact, the Marmot Helium 30° is my favorite for '07. |

Not sure what you are saying sir. _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. I was reffering to the asterisk * that we all use for a temp symbol.
I just learnt how to do it like this: 30°
I thought it was cool, maybe it isnt.
