Thanks everyone. I was very happy since this was my first marathon, I did things backward starting with the 50 mile ultras then going to a marathon.
Unlike the 50 milers, I did train for this other than just long hikes and climbs.
Hooli, in answer to your question my time was 4:26, this was a sanctioned marathon, but for my age group my time was not fast enough to automatically qualify for Boston or New York. I would have had to do it in about 4 hours.
I finished 19th overall out of 48 that did the full marathon. Out of the 48 I think 40 finishied so I was right smack in the middle of the pack. There were 587 participents between the full marathon the half marathon and the 4 person relay marathon.
