Sure do love our dogs. Just getting your dog to go lightweight is hard. My dogs food and pad/sleeping bag weighs more than mine do.

Now there's something to ponder.......dehydrated puppy pouches of food....for the ultralight backpacking pooch!.......sweet........I put it in writing first!

OMG, I'd pay to hug him. I've had three beagles and I miss my last one Nellie terribley.

Git' him snake proofed. I did it for Nell and it was money well spent. Scent hounds like beagles put their snouts down and wade right into trouble.
