I was discussing an upcoming barbeque with Hikngrl last night and figured I'd throw a poll up about it.
Who's in for an AZH Barbeque?
I figure that we'd rent a deal at a local park, do a daytime into nighttime barbeque event on an upcoming Saturday when it's going to be too hot to hike and more than likely the forests will all be closed to access soon anyway.
We'd do our regular pot luck deal and for the highly testosterone driven crowd, we could have a barbeque cook off, pepper eating contest, salsa off or some such.
What do y'all think about all that?
Get in here y'all.

How about tying this in to a celebration when Tommy comes home, or is that later than you're thinking? No reason not to do both if it is.

Tommy is about half way done, right? When do you think he'll be done? I'm wondering if the second half will go a little slower than the first half.

Ya might consider renting a park with a group campground so those who imbibe can throw up a tent rather than hitting the road and, maybe, getting a DUI.

A BBQ this summer sounds like a GREAT idea!

I was just thinking about this the other day. Pool Party? I think I know a house that may work?

I'll be out with the kids from August 11th through the 25th. Hope it coincides with the BBQ!

Tommy is looking to be done in early to mid-August I believe.

Probably going to be too hot for most people to want to camp out here in town.
