Some of you remember last year when the lab that does my Dr's lab work had me with type II diabetes....which, after several months of stabbing my finger and getting nothing but normal results, plus an A1C test which also had me well within the normal range.....turned out to be Bull poopie; well this time the lab results came back saying I'm hypothyroid! Checked the symptoms on the internet.....among them, Irritable; WHO ME????
Anyway, two weeks of worry and four additional lab tests, all well within normal range and I'm Leaving Thursday a.m. for five days and nights in Durango, CO. Last time THAT porridge lab's gonna do me! Need to unwind and let the stress go. May very well stretch it out to a full week.....maybe gas prices'll go down. ROFLMAO Have reservation for Monday run on the Durango-Silverton Narrow Guage RR; car I'm on has a bar, I think drink up Works for me!

BTW, you too should be totally pissed! Your medical premiums and costs going up? Guess why! Medicare paid for ALL the Diabetes testing stuff I used those several months. Read lately that Medicare's gonna run outta $$$$????? Guess why?????

Me irritable???? Rolling Eyes

Maybe you should have the Brats pay them a visit. Brat one can handle the trolls while Brat 2 gives em a medical "what for"!

Glad I decided to check out the weather reports for the two towns next Monday which is when I ride the RR; first checked Durango.....79degrees, figured.....ah tee shirt and shorts, no problem!

Then checked Silverton......62 degrees and 30% chance of T-storms!

Oops! Now it's Levi's and a jacket and maybe my Marmot precip tucked in my camera bag. Rolling Eyes

T-storms while riding the rails would be so cool! Very Happy

I might take a ride up that railroad next month. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to get off of it, but I'm probably going to wander into the mountains for a few days or a week or so. Become one with the mountain goats.

Walker set for Richie Rich while I ride the RR's tomorrow.......Had serious Texas BBQ pork ribs tonight....not quite as good as mine, but close! High 70 degrees daytime, mid 40's at night....but long pants on the RR 'cause Silverton is 9,500 feet and 20 degrees cooler than here. Gonna have chicken fried steak at "Bent Elbow" in Silverton during two hour layover/touristy stuff. Looks like chances of T-storms I was hoping for on the RR ride are lessening Crying or Very sad But scenery shoud be spectacular! Staying an extra day....leave here Thurs. spend night at RV park in Flaff, then on home Friday.....unless I decide another day in paradise would be nice! Hey....gas prices are going down.....maybe I'll stay here 'til gas goes below a buck a gallon! Silly
