I spent about 2 hours tonight at the Arizona Science Museum visiting the Body Worlds 3 presentation.

I thoroughly enjoyed the anatomical displays, the likes of which you will see almost no other place. I learned things I didn't want to know about the human body tonight.
A large part of my enjoyment was observing some of the other folks' reactions to the exhibits. There was this one fellow in a wheelchair with an assist dog. He and I passed each other frequently during my visit and I watched as people talked to him about his dog. Naturally I couldn't hold back a joke and after a dozen or so displays I pointed to his dog and asked him if he was going to take her home and give her a bone to chew on. He chuckled and replied "I told her to pick one out while we're here.
A half hour later I excused myself as another gentleman excused himself as we walked past each other, around a large glass display table including preserved samples of both male and female urinary tracts. Kidneys, bladder, urethra, everything. I held back on telling him that I had excused myself to a lot of people about a lot of things but never to get a better view of one of those. Pointing to the male specimen.

The experience was truly informative and entertaining. If you are the slightest bit interested, I recommend you go. I wipictures but the allow no recording equipment inside. There is an audio option you can purchase. I was so enthralled by what I was reading and seeing, I couldn't concentrate on what the audio player I carried was saying.

We have the same thing right now at the Detroit Science Center. It's on my list to do...It's gotten great reviews here from those I know who have already seen it.

My wife and I went in Vegas in December - truely amazing stuff.
One of the many informative things that came out of the exhibit also came to us at the display of urinary tracts. My wife pointed out that the female bladder on display was half the size of the male bladder, and said, "That explains so much!"
If anyone gets the chance, I highly recomend it.

I'd be interested in a re-visit depending on when the group goes.
