I was wondering if they were going to offer more Marine Cuisine. Doesn't seem as inexpensive as I remember, though I'll take it.

Got it coming. Several of those dinners are great trail meals. Some are way high in fat though. Also got some mangoes and strawberries to try.

Ordered up for our March adventure -- Yes this time it was only 25% - I think the last time they were 50% off. No Chilli Mac Sad I did snag some Chicken n Potatoes - remmbered them when Guru and I were breakfasting at Cottonwood - I had borrowed some tasty bites from Tom the last time we were camped there & I figure if I was remembering it -- must have tasted good!

Even at 25% off they are more like 40% off REI price when you add in tax, free shipping for $50 or more. I should be good for about a year I think.

Safeway healthy-type cup soups, (lentil, black bean, potato, etc.) $1 ea. when on sale. Eaten with one bagel, about .50 to $1.00 ea. That's always plenty for me, especially with a cup of cocoa for dessert. I rebag all the soups, and 7 days worth of those little bags doesn't even fill up one lg ziploc bag. Freeze dried bp foods too expensive, and way, way too much food and foil waste. Usually when I'm with a group everyone is trying to get everyone else to finish theirs! "Here, Elizabeth, you want to try my vegetarian goulash with pressed soybean anchovies?" Blech!
