How about an evening at the Phoenix Zoo enjoying its annual Zoo Lights Spectacular? And maybe a dinner get-together before the Zoo.

Gonna leave this 'til Dec. 6, then will post details in Events:

Most zoos I've been to have fairly good restaurants. Only been to Phoenix zoo once and don't remember the food scene. Anybody go any ideas for eats either at the zoo or nearby?

I'd suggest the Delhai Palace (Indian) or the Pizza place....leaning towards pizza.

or Monti's might have FREE happy hour food.

I also see my all time favorite dive place has opened up in the area....Guedo's Taco shop....it's a must do if you haven't tried their 1.90 soft tacos.

also see that Big Fat Greek place,
Dilly's Deli---yummy....
or the House of Tricks is Excellent but pricey
