I have been following the race for a few days now & I find it quite amazing to see some impressive shows of determination....

I am hooked ....Thanks to OLN for live coverage it makes it all the more cool...

I just wish the French had an English web site too...( or may be they want me to learn French)!

Hamilton is a STUD. He's riding with a broken collarbone this year. A few years back he rode with a shoulder injury, and I heard today that after the race was over he had to have major reconstructive dental work because he ground his teeth down to the nub.

Dude is TOUGH. Look for him to be a winner in a couple more years.

I've watched each stage, all of them, and I must say this is the most exciting Tour we've had in years! The shear amount of attacking has been staggering. I just watched Ullrich destroy the field in the ITT. This is just a wonderful tour.

As for the poll...it will be tough, but Lance will wear yellow in Paris. Though I believe we are seeing the next generation speaking up loudly!

There was a great article on Armstrong's physiology on MSNBC: His resting heart rate is 32, 4% body fat, an extra long femur (thighbone) giving him unusually powerful leverage on the pedals, a heart some 50% larger than most and, I think, his biggest advantage.....somehow he metabolizes lactic acid and while others' muscles are screaming in agony in the mountains, Armstrong's just powers away from them.

Armstrong is not "powering away" this year.

They haven't done much in the mountains yet - and he did just come in second in the time trial - despite running out of water. I'd say he's doing alright. Not as dominant as we've seen him, but still doing just fine.

I think his biggest worry is that he seems to have lost the psychological edge over the other competitors. They see him as vulnerable, so that might pump them up more.

sure but I like the tour this year ...its more interesting and its great to see some excitement in the field -- the hope that a Non-Lance win is a possibility!

That adds a lot of interest .

Lance, though I think he would do better on a Giant than a Trek

Thought it was interesting to learn that IMAX filmmakers have been following Tyler Hamilton during this Tour. The subject of the movie is Brain Power and focuses on the brains ability to overcome physical obstacles...when Tyler went down in the first stage and broke his collar bone in two places, the producers were crushed, but since he has ridden the whole tour and ridden well, they are now ecstatic, they feel as though the movie is "enhanced" by his injury

Did you see Stage 15....The drama was incredible!! What a come back after the fall. WOW...I was glued to OLN in the evening and I am sure glad I did not check up on the standings online.

Another added thrill for me is the fact that the top of the pool is so close packed...its still anyone's Tour!!

It's Lance's tour. He'll win. He'll destroy the field in the tt. Game Over.

I watched it live this morning, amazing stage. This has been a fantastic tour.

Ulrich seemed quite strong in the earlier time trial....Are you SO sure its Lance's ? I'd love to see him win 5 time

I'd put money on it. Ullrich is strong, he's a phenominal rider. Today Lance took the stage and the tour. Ullrich will give Lance a battle, and could win, but my money's on Lance for 6.

Lance for 6 .... Thats a thought.

I was just wanting to add to my earlier post -- What's next for Lance ? I guess 6 is just as good as any...I'll be rooting for him if he does.

But on the other hand...what else ? Motivational Speaker ...Thoughts
