Since I know almost nothing about anything south of Flagstaff, I'll guess Texas Canyon. _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |

Well I live in the subdivision off 7th st and the 101 so I recognized the 101 in the background of the last picture, plus the light tower for deer valley airport. Didn't know there was an american flag up there though.
Which hill is that specifically though, is that just east of 16th st? |

No, I just used my intimate knowledge of geology and my powers of deduction.
The boulders are granitic in composition and there is an airport runway visible in one shot. Also the power lines, the commo gear and the arrows in the cactus were clues that the place was not far from a city. The only place I could think of where all these things come together was north Phoenix near Deer Valley Airport.
What did I win? A pair of used Tevas? A sack of expired Cliff Bars? _________________ “And all her face was honey to my mouth,

You know I could walk to the base of that in 10 minutes and have yet to climb that thing. Started to one day with Jen and Emma and wearing a pair of sandals, not the hiking type either. |
