This conflicts with both the GHOTM and Rim-Rim however if anyone is interested PMail me for details and link.

Sept 29-Oct 1 is a regional caving get together in the GRAND CANYON AREA. This is open to anyone interested in caving. It is held by several of the Arizona Caving grottos.

Activities--
Cave survey
hiking
ridge walking (geology lesson, looking for likely rock outcroppings with potential for caves)
Digging ( look for new passage)
Caving

Our hosts run a commercial cave. We will likely have access to the non commercial parts.

Come cave ready, minimal is helmet, 3 sources of light, pack, old clothes, boots.

I plan on attending, main events will be on Saturday with partying Fri and Sat nights. Car camp and hotel possibilites.
