I was just wondering that for allergic dogs; is it better to prep your own dog food ( I am thinking fresh meats, vegis etc) ? I know there a quite a few great dog lovers out on this forum ? Ant thoughts & suggestions

I've seen several websites that proport the benefit of making your own dog food...combination of several veggies and such...but then I got to thinking...I don't put that much effort into what I eat...so Sam's Club Lamb and Rice it is...sofar no complaints.

I'd consult your vet...I really don't know about dog allergies...

Years back I had Crying or Very sad a beautiful Springer Spaniel. Over the course of a few months most of her hair fell out. I took her to numerous vets and had several tests done on her. They couldn't find any reason for her problem. I tried different foods with no change until I started feeding her a vegatarian dog food with avocado oil. I don't recall the brand or the name but I bought it at Petsmart. Within 6 months her hair grew back and those lovely feathers were thicker than ever. Good luck!
