I suggest Tempe Camera, but I'll bet Glen knows the best place.

To tell the truth, I have finally stated printing for myself and I have gone the home printing route. I can't do anything of that format though. 8.5x11 is the biggest. I got a nice little Canon 6 tank printer and have figured the profiles and settings. We have started to fill the walls with framed, matted prints now.

That is certainly an awesome pano Tim. I haven't done any outsourcing for prints so I don't know where to tell you to go. I have seen conversations on the net where they give recommendations. If I come across them, I'll let you know.

MPix is what they recommend for an online printing service. There are some very good photographers using this.

My mother is a High School art teacher and she gets her slides for shows done through IMAGE CRAFT. I believe there off Thomas and 44th st. I've had some printing done there from my wedding and they did a great job.

Just yet another option.

Tim you might want to try here. We use them quite a bit for our photographic needs. Their quality is pretty hard to beat:

Imagine that, I'm writing and you're posting. They really are good at what they do.

Not to be a party pooper, but have you contacted the photographer that took the photo? Printing it without permission is a copyright violation. I'd bet if you take the photo anywhere as is they won't print it for you and they'll ask a lot of questions.

Also, if you want the whole image and you want it 12" high the print will be over 100" wide! If you want it 36" wide, it will only be 4" high.

Actually I did e-mail him asking to use it for myself. He was more than happy to do so.

I was wondering Daryl about the size ratio and didn't know how to figure it out for myseld. Hmm 100'' pictures. What wall can I put that one one?

I make custom frames for my stuff, but a 100" frame would be rough!

I just put it in photoshop and changed the image size on length and width to get the sizes, I'm too lazy to do the math. Printing something that big you'll want to optimize the file before printing, and you might want the blotchy (technically called noise) in the sky cleaned up. Let me know and I can do that for you. The file is big enough to support a pretty large print, I'd suggest maybe a 70x8"? Or we could break it up into three 36x12"s?

To be 12 inches tall, this print will have to be 8.78 feet wide. It can be done. Burn it to CD and take it to any custom lab. Ritz maybe?
