Charleston has been getting good rains. There where blooms of all kinds all over the place today and it smelled so sweet and fresh and the birds were having a great time. It was a wonderful day on the mountain.

I was at the intersection of 95 and the road to Kyle Canyon/Mt Charlest bout 14 miles MW of downtown and 18 miles WSW of the fire. No way to drive closer unless ya had a very serious 4x4.

For being such a hazy day, I sure got a bunch of good photos that day. Mostly the incredible late bloom that was going on up on Charleston. I hope I got some good shots out at Red Rock today too. I seldom go there, especially in July but who knows.
