I've been a little self absorbed

I've been a little self-absorbed in my own stuff for a few months, so I really don't know the answer; how did we end up with two groups? I thought dissention was best left to organized religion and politics. Call me naive but I really don’t know what caused the division. I miss the rarity of the union we all shared and sometimes I feel like a child of divorced parents. I’m a big boy; I can handle the reality of the situation, if I know the facts.

Well Rick it's a long story -
I guess Joe at had some problems and had to take down HAZ, everyone though it was permanent. I had the resources for a new site and Mike had the programming skill so we put up ArizonaHikers.com to keep some folks out of rehab. So now officially there's three local hiking sites with forums with members we're familiar with-

http://www.azwilderness.comThis site has been up for over a year now.

It seems odd I know, but that's the way it's turned out.

I go to all three sites also! I enjoy it.... but I wasn't around when there was only one site either.... I am new to the hiking arena and enjoy reading all the sites and looking at the pictures. Hope to become a "big girl" hiker like the rest of you some day!

It's great to be out, I mean back, (I swear to you, I had no idea I was driving the get-away car).

Seriously; feeling great, back is in super shape and the throat is all healed. I moved to Scottsdale a month ago, it's alot like Glendale except people hike wearing jewelry and they give you the finger a bunch if you drive the speed limit.
