I've twirled a few pans since coming to AZ. and still haven't seen any color! Sad
Matter of fact I just sent both of the Gold dredges I had back to Ca. with a good friend just last Sunday. The end of an era for me!

A few years ago I spent most of an afternoon panning at Lynx lake. All I got was tired arms, a sore back, a dandy sunburn, and two tiny specs. Deanda spent most of her time in the shade and got some wonderful dragonfly pictures. All in all, I think she had a much better return on the investment.

Got a few microscopic flakes the time I tried it, on the back side of Mt. Lemmon. All I have to say about it is it was about as much fun as watching paint dry.
