Sunrise Ski Resort reopens this morning!

For you downhillers and boarders, Sunrise Ski Resort, east of Pinetop, is re-opening this morning with 5 to 5 and 1/2 feet of new snow. Call 928-735-7669 for more info.

For cheaper ski rentals and way cheaper motels (than Pinetop) go to Eagar AZ, home of yours truly! Or to Springerville, 1 mile down the road. For example, at Reed's Lodge in Springerville I think you can still get the budget rooms for around $40 + tax. You have to ask for the budget rooms, though. 928-333-4323. White Mtn. Motel even cheaper, not as nice.

The Sweat Shop on Main St. in Eagar has rentals and lift ticket discounts, usually. Call to find out: 928-333-2950. Yes, I know the owner, and he could use the business. He tries to keep his prices lower than anyone else on the mtn. and depends on repeat business.
