Don't think there will be anytime soon 'cause all the expense for this site is coming out of the pockets of the two guys who built it for us. I'm told those expenses at present are minimal, but tee shirts and stickers would quickly eat up a whole bunch of their money.

I have an idea bouncing around 'tween my two ears that I'm gonna run by a few people about future things like tees; but the cost would have to be fully picked up by the members purchasing the items if it's ever done, with no expense to the site or the administrators.
Hope I'm not over stepping my bounds, Mike and GTG, but I do have a genuine idea Yes I wanna run past you guys. Canyon Dweller just happened to bring the subject up just a couple of hours after my idea struck me.

Hooli, I don't think there would be any problem with anyone picking up the tab on any Arizonahikers items. In my opinion we should all be contributing to this site, however needed. The way my daughter put it is this is a company owned, company operated site (and she's only 11). I thought that was a cute way of putting it. This site certainly has a different feel than the 'last' site.

Exactly - I was actually considering having an annual fund-raiser (possibly in the form of a modified chili shin-dig) just to make sure that all funds contributed do not actually come out of the personal pockets of any one individual.

I'll put more thought into this before I post more on the subject.

No problem whatsoever. I would be very willing to fork up some money in support of this site!

Or you could do an online store.... send in a design, and they will print stuff and sell it to the members at no cost to the admins, and they will get a kickback to maintain the site..

See more info here:

Cakewalk, I had thought about doing a Cafepress store, too. It looks like a pretty good deal. I think I even saw a plug-in for this board to add one to the site. I'll check that out again.

Yeah I think its the best way to get ArizonaHikers.com Schwag out to the people w/o cost to anyone except those who choose to purchase...

Maybe Kurthzone and the other photoshopites can do some designs and we can all vote.

I like it, maybe we can use some trail photos, too. We could put together an awesome calendar!

OK, these ideas are awesome! I think Cakewalks idea rocks! I'd be making some purchases...

I'm going to respectfully ask that no one even consider a discussion of a ArizonaHikers calendar featuring Hoolie...on Squaw Peak....in a two piece... Crazy

On another note...did anybody else find it odd that the old site's logo was the dancing Kokopelli, which was on the t-shirts, but that the stickers had mountains on it? I just thought it was odd.
