Hey sister... I don't think you can throw any stones about that! Surprised Sredfield (ldhiker) and I just figgered you got the tumblin' tumbleweed syndrome worse than the rest of us. Wink Besides, I can't be everywhere, ya know.

Your posting frequency is every bit as valuable as the next persons. And that's what I'm saying. Everybody has something to contribute and although lurking can certainly be more comfortable for some folks, and maybe a little voyeuristic Shocked , you get more outta this site if you put a little in. Know what I'm sayin? Take care and don't fall off the houseboat.

Hoolz- Shy is more my sister in spirit than in blood. She's an accomplished and aggressive hiker, horseperson/cowgirl and nurse... right handy to have along on a hike. Also can cut a rug with a mean 2-step as well.

As far as listening to her older brother's advice, hyuck, hyuck, yeah, like that's gonna happen Wink

I guess I am just not into chatting. I tend to reply to specific posts by folks who have questions about places I have been. On occasion I will ask about a specific area.

Most of the events talked about here are in the Phoenix area and not convient. I really am a friendly person with lots of backpacking experience in Arizona and, recently, New Mexico.

So, don't take my lurking as being unsociable. I like to listen and learn. (Even on backpack trips, I encourage folks to speak less than sentences per hour.) There are plenty of opportunities to talk. Silence is rare and golden.
